Gold toned 80s British Royal Navy Submarine Doplhin service  brooch for your lapel..does exactly what it says in the title!- given to those of service in the Navy.
The same style, but in a badge in the 50s,  was given to submariners when they passed their training so I would imagine the brooch pin 80s version here was given for the same reasons.
